New 384-Unit Apartment Community Moves Forward in Wesley Chapel After Financing Secured

WESLEY CHAPEL, Fla. — A major new apartment community is moving closer to construction after developers secured financing for a 384-unit luxury multifamily project in one of Wesley Chapel's fastest-growing corridors.

The development, known as Aventon Wesley Chapel, will be built on more than 19 acres at the southwest corner of State Road 56 and Meadow Pointe Boulevard, an area that has experienced rapid residential and commercial growth in recent years. The project recently received a preferred equity investment from Maryland-based real estate investment firm FCP, allowing development to move forward.

Unit Apartment Community Breaks Ground Along SR 56

Located just a few miles from Interstate 75, the new community will add 384 apartment homes to the expanding SR 56 corridor, placing future residents near major employers, healthcare facilities, shopping destinations and entertainment.

The site is within easy reach of AdventHealth Wesley Chapel, BayCare Hospital Wesley Chapel, the future Orlando Health Wiregrass Ranch Hospital, The Shops at Wiregrass, Tampa Premium Outlets, and The Grove at Wesley Chapel. Developers say the location was selected because of the area's strong population growth and expanding employment opportunities.

What Residents Can Expect

According to the developer, Aventon Wesley Chapel will include:

• 384 one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartment homes

• Six four-story residential buildings

• A resort-style swimming pool

• Fitness center

• Resident clubhouse with coworking space

• Social gathering areas

• Pet-friendly amenities, including a pet spa

Leasing is expected to begin in early 2028 once construction is completed.
