WESLEY CHAPEL, FL — Wesley Chapel's Irish pub scene has a new player. 1916 Irish Pub has opened in the former Beef O'Brady's location on Wesley Chapel Boulevard, next to Winn-Dixie.
About the Brand
1916 Irish Pub is owned and operated by Chuck Jamieson and business partner Duke Mendel, who've built the brand around fusing an authentic Irish pub feel with a contemporary twist. The Wesley Chapel location joins existing 1916 Irish Pub locations in Plant City and Lakeland.
Why It Matters
The location has seen turnover in recent years — Wesley Chapel lost two Irish-style pubs in short order back in 2024, including the original Beef O'Brady's on Bruce B. Downs. This opening gives the community's Irish pub scene a fresh start in a familiar spot.
