TAMPA, FL — Last year's sold-out comedy sensation is getting an encore. Broadway Miscast — The Sequel, developed and directed by Jim Russell, opens July 10 at Carrollwood Players Theatre for a three-weekend run — and if last year's version is any indication, this is one of the funnier nights on the Tampa Bay theater calendar this summer.
The Premise
The entire show is built around a delightfully absurd concept: Broadway's greatest hits, performed by talented singers who absolutely do NOT "fit" the role as it was originally written. Expect familiar showstoppers turned sideways, reimagined, and played for maximum comedic effect from a high-energy ensemble cast.

Fridays, July 10, 17, 24 at 8 PM
Saturdays, July 11, 18, 25 at 8 PM
Sundays, July 12, 19 at 2 PM
