Wesley Chapel is getting a major retail addition. Lululemon, one of the most recognizable names in athletic and lifestyle apparel, is set to open a permanent storefront at The Shops at Wiregrass — bringing a brand that previously only appeared seasonally in the area to a full-time home on the SR-56 corridor.
Lululemon Joins a Wave of New Retailers at Wiregrass
The Lululemon opening is part of a larger push by property owner TriGate Capital to bring nine new upscale tenants into the 800,000-square-foot open-air center. Jewelry and accessories brand Kendra Scott is also among the confirmed incoming retailers, with a reported target opening of June 2026. The remaining seven tenants have not yet been publicly announced.
For Wesley Chapel shoppers, the addition means permanent access to a brand that previously required a trip to International Plaza or other Tampa-area destinations. Lululemon is well known for its performance athletic wear, but also for community-oriented programming including group run clubs and in-store fitness events — a natural fit for the active lifestyle demographic that defines much of the Wiregrass area.
Part of a Bigger Transformation at The Shops at Wiregrass
The incoming retailers are arriving alongside visible physical upgrades at the center. Since TriGate Capital acquired the property in 2023, The Shops at Wiregrass has seen significant improvements to its Center Court area, including new landscaping, updated lighting, upgraded seating, and refreshed gathering spaces along Paseo Drive.
The changes reflect a broader strategy to reposition Wiregrass as a premium retail and lifestyle destination — one that competes not just locally but across the greater Tampa Bay region.
What We Know So Far
An official opening date for the Wesley Chapel Lululemon location has not yet been released. Additional retailer announcements from the nine-tenant expansion are also expected in the coming months.
The Shops at Wiregrass is located at 28211 Paseo Drive at the intersection of State Road 56 and Bruce B. Downs Boulevard in Wesley Chapel, FL 33543. Center hours are Monday through Thursday 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday and Saturday 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
