PASCO COUNTY, FL — Enjoying Pasco County's parks just got a lot more convenient. The county's Parks, Recreation and Natural Resources (PRNR) department has launched a new free mobile app called Pasco Parks FL, timed to coincide with July's National Recreation and Park Association Park and Recreation Month.
Why Now
PRNR Director Keith Wiley says the app is designed to modernize how residents interact with the county's parks system — cutting out extra phone calls, paperwork, and in-person visits for things that can now be handled from a phone. "Launching this app brings our community an exciting, faster and easier way to connect with Pasco County Parks," Wiley said. "Our department looks forward to the smoother, more convenient experience this will bring to all park patrons."
What the App Can Do
Look up park information and amenities
Reserve campsites and facilities
Purchase annual park passes
Register for programs, classes, and activities
Access and scan a Virtual Recreation Membership
Why It's Worth Downloading
Pasco County manages more than 15,000 acres of parks, preserves, and recreational land — including neighborhood parks, athletic complexes, beach parks, and wilderness areas. For residents who use those spaces regularly, having reservations, passes, and program sign-ups consolidated into one app removes a lot of the friction that used to come with managing all of that separately.
📍 Applies to all Pasco County parks and recreation facilities, including those in Wesley Chapel
