PulteGroup Is Building 299 Homes Next to the Rising Johns Hopkins Children's Hospital — Meet The Enclave at King Lake

WESLEY CHAPEL, FL — One of America's largest homebuilders is planting its flag right next to Wesley Chapel's most anticipated healthcare facility. National homebuilder PulteGroup has finalized the purchase of a 136-acre property along Kenton Road and to the south of Elam Road, which will become its latest community: The Enclave at King Lake.
The timing is no coincidence. Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital recently began construction on a new 114-acre campus less than a mile from The Enclave at King Lake, a project expected to create more than 300 new jobs. The hospital completed its structural topping out on May 8, 2026, and is on track to open in 2027 — bringing one of the most respected pediatric healthcare names in the world to Wesley Chapel's eastern edge.
What's Being Built
The Enclave at King Lake will offer a mix of 192 townhomes and 107 single-family homes — 299 residences total across 136 acres. PulteGroup declined to disclose the purchase price for the property. The land was previously owned by King Lake Partners Owner LP, linked to a Greenville, South Carolina-based real estate company called Long Key Development, which had purchased the parcel of pasture land in 2022 for $17.8 million.
