TAMPA, FL — If you've been meaning to try Cousin Vinny's Sandwich Co. in Tampa, go before July 10. Because after Guy Fieri's visit hits the airwaves on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives that Friday at 9 PM on the Food Network, the line is going to be out the door and around the block.
Cousin Vinny's — located at 1331 W Cass St in Tampa's NoHo neighborhood — announced its episode will air as Season 55, Episode 7 of Triple D, titled "Hand to Mouth." It's the shop's first-ever appearance on the show, and the second Tampa Bay restaurant to be featured this season after Supernatural Food & Wine aired back in May.
Why Fieri Chose It
Cousin Vinny's is exactly what Guy Fieri looks for — a spot that looks unassuming from the outside but absolutely delivers on the plate. The shop was already listed as a Michelin Recommended restaurant in the 2026 Florida Michelin Guide, so the quality wasn't exactly a secret. But Triple D takes that to a completely different level of exposure.

The Story Behind It
Cousin Vinny's was founded by four friends originally from New York — including co-owner Vincent "Vinny" Andriotti — who wanted to bring real New York Italian-American sandwich culture to Tampa. It started as a ghost kitchen, officially opened its doors in 2024, and hasn't slowed down since. A second location in St. Petersburg is expected to open in November 2026.

Cousin Vinny's is about 40 minutes from Wesley Chapel via I-275 South. Go before the episode airs July 10 for a more relaxed experience — or go after and join the Triple D hype train. Either way, bring cash for seconds.
