WESLEY CHAPEL, FL — One of the most anticipated retail developments in Wesley Chapel history is no longer just a rumor or a rendering. Wesley Chapel Station, developed by SJC Ventures, broke ground in late 2025 and construction is actively advancing at the busy intersection of Bruce B. Downs Boulevard and Aronwood Boulevard. The finish line is getting closer — and the tenant lineup is stacked.
Anchored by Whole Foods Market and Life Time Fitness, the project offers a curated mix of national and boutique tenants including Chipotle, CAVA, Joe & The Juice, Naked Farmer, and Pacific Dental, creating a vibrant and health-conscious retail environment. PopUp Bagels — the internet-famous bagel brand known for its hot, fresh-from-the-oven bagels served with custom weekly cream cheeses — has also officially signed a lease at the center.
What's Being Built
Whole Foods Market — 40,100 sq ft, the center's primary grocery anchor
Life Time Fitness — premium athletic club as the wellness anchor
Chipotle — confirmed tenant with a drive-thru lane
CAVA — Mediterranean bowls and salads
Naked Farmer — farm-to-table seasonal greens concept
Joe & The Juice — premium juice, coffee, and sandwich bar
PopUp Bagels — hot bagels with rotating weekly cream cheese spreads
Pacific Dental — professional services rounding out the lineup
The Location
The development sits at the northernmost entrance to Meadow Pointe off Bruce B. Downs Boulevard, directly across from Target and just south of State Road 56 — one of the most trafficked intersections in the entire Wesley Chapel area. The surrounding Wesley Chapel area has a 5-mile population exceeding 144,000 and average household incomes nearing $150,000 — one of the most affluent and expanding trade areas in the region.
Why Wesley Chapel Has Been Waiting for This
Residents have long desired healthy and diverse grocery options. Earth Fare opened to much applause in 2019 and shockingly closed a year later. The only fully organic option currently in Wesley Chapel is the Nutrition Smart on Bruce B. Downs — not a full-sized grocery store. Whole Foods changes that equation completely.
When Does It Open?
Anticipated delivery is Q3 2026 — meaning the first tenants could be opening their doors as soon as this fall. Construction is progressing on schedule with utility and site preparation phases wrapping up and vertical construction expected to begin in the coming months.
